As the clocks go back this month, the evenings will get darker earlier — a prime time for opportunistic burglars. We’re reminding everyone to take simple steps to keep homes and belongings secure:

🔒 Lock doors and windows – even when you're at home.
💡 Use timer switches to turn lights on when it gets dark.
📷 Check security cameras and alarms are working properly.
🚪 Secure sheds, garages, and outbuildings – don’t leave tools or bikes visible.
👀 Be a good neighbour – report suspicious activity and look out for each other.
